Prior to training, I worked as an Assistant Psychologist in a CAMHS team for children with an Intellectual Disability. I have spent time working in an adult service for parents of young children and pregnant mothers. As an undergraduate student, I completed a placement year at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in a Social Communication and Autism Spectrum Service. I have also worked in Specialist Education as a Support Assistant with young people with an Intellectual Disability and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder.
I am currently interested in working with young people with Intellectual Disabilities, their families, and the supporting systems around them. I am looking forward to exploring other areas of clinical psychology whilst training, particularly working with older adults.
