  1. A 1st class or 2.1 undergraduate degree in Psychology.
  2. An undergraduate degree in another subject, with a Master’s level Conversion course in Psychology with a Distinction or Merit grade.

2. Are you currently in the final year of your undergraduate psychology degree?

Any offer of a place will be conditional upon achieving a 2:1 or higher.

3. Have you undertaken significant clinically relevant work experience?

This may include work as an Assistant Psychologist, Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) worker, Research Assistant, certain Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker posts). 7. If English is not your first language, do you have either of the following?

  1. A degree undertaken in English.
  2. Evidence of English language proficiency at the higher level required by the University of Oxford. Certificates must be dated to within two years of the start of study, thus for 2024 entry the certificate must be dated 24.09.22 or later. 9. If you are on a Psychological Professions' training programme, did this commence before 1st April 2022?

Health Education England (HEE) has implemented a policy change for eligibility on NHS funding specific psychological professions’ training programmes for individuals who wish to undertake more than one NHS-funded training.

10. Will this be the only course you are due to be registered on from September 2024?

If appointed, candidates should not simultaneously be registered for any other degree course (e.g. Ph.D.). If you are currently registered for a Ph.D., you are required to have completed your viva and have no more than minor corrections outstanding prior to the course start date in September 2024. Written confirmation from the Ph.D. supervisor that the candidate is on track to do this will be required.
