CURRENT ROLE

 CURRENT ROLE

I am currently in my first year of training on the Oxford Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. My first year will consist of two placements; working in Older Adults community care, at the Whiteleaf Centre, and supporting carers and families of those affected by cancer, at the Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

I completed my Psychology degree at the University of Bristol in 2019, followed by a MSc in Developmental Psychology and Psychopathology at King’s College London in 2021. My master’s dissertation explored the associations between eating disorder symptoms and common comorbidities, using network analysis.

Prior to clinical training, I worked as a Research Assistant Psychologist on the STAR Trial at the IoPPN (Kings College London). The study investigated the effectiveness of Trauma-Focused therapy for individuals experiencing psychosis symptoms. Prior to this I was an Assistant Psychologist in a Perinatal Community Team, facilitating DBT interventions (group and individual). I have also worked as a Clinical Support Worker at the CAMHS PICU, Eating Disorder Unit, and Mother and Baby Unit at the Bethlem Royal Hospital (SLaM).

INTERESTS

Addressing inequalities in mental health services and psychology training, perinatal mental health (of all caregivers), CAMHS, trauma/PTSD, psychosis, comorbidity, and early intervention.
