WHAT I DO

I am currently undertaking my Clinical Psychology training at the Oxford Institute of Clinical Psychology Training. My first placement is in the Adult Mental Health Team at the Elms Centre in Banbury where I will be working with adults and older adults in the community.

PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS

Prior to training I completed my low-intensity CBT training with children and young people. During this training I was placed in a Neurodevelopmental service where I applied principles of CBT to help children and young people from a neurodiverse background. Here, I also worked with a parent-led early intervention model to support children under the age of 11 with mild to moderate levels of anxiety.

Prior to that I have been lucky in enough to have worked in a diverse range of settings, including in a health psychology placement at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, as an assistant psychologist working with adults with acquired brain injury and as a research assistant on a validation study for a neuropsychological assessment for children.

My current interests include: early intervention for common mental health problems, evidence-based approaches to supporting people with Autism Spectrum Conditions and ADHD and transdiagnostic treatment approaches for eating disorders.
