Rayanne John-Baptiste Bastien

I am currently in my first year at the Oxford Institute of Clinical Psychology Training.  My first placement is with a community adult mental health team in Oxford.

Prior to training, I completed my bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Birmingham before studying my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Sciences at University College London (UCL). I have completed a Postgraduate certificate in Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Interventions.

Most recently, I have worked as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner in an IAPT service providing low intensity CBT in a diverse London borough.  I also worked as a Research Assistant conducting research at the Division of Psychiatry, UCL. This included systematic reviews on PTSD treatments in children, adolescents and young adults and reviewing psychosis prevalence rates in Low and Middle Income countries.
