I am currently in my first year of clinical training. My first placement is with the community neurorehabilitation service, based in Aylesbury and Amersham.
Prior to training I worked as a support worker for adults with acquired brain injuries, and as an assistant psychologist in an adult inpatient spinal cord injury rehabilitation unit and in a community child and adolescent mental health team.
I have particular interests in the intersection of mental health and physical health, particularly adjustment to life changing physical conditions, and in extending therapeutic work beyond the clinic (for example, working with schools or physical healthcare teams to extend psychological skills and psychosocial support available to patients).
