Margot Overman

I am a trainee clinical psychologist within the Oxford Institute of Clinical Psychology Training and Research. Prior to starting the course I completed an MSc in Human Cognitive Neuropsychology at the University of Edinburgh and a DPhil in Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Oxford. Following my doctorate I worked as a postdoctoral researcher, with my projects focusing on developing new assessments and interventions for cognitive impairments and mood disorders in people living with neurological conditions. In addition, I worked as an assistant psychologist in inpatient neurorehabilitation and memory assessment services. My clinical interests include neuropsychological diagnosis and rehabilitation, older adult mental health, and third wave CBT approaches such as acceptance and commitment therapy and compassion focused therapy.
