I received a First-Class Honours degree from Grey College, University of Durham, and was awarded both the Gabbett Prize and the British Psychological Society Award for Undergraduate Psychology for achieving the highest overall mark in my cohort. After completing my undergraduate degree, I worked as an assistant psychologist in an Adult Community Mental Health Team for 14 months and a Medium Secure Forensic Psychiatric Hospital for 6 months. Following this, I read an MPhil in Biological Science (Psychology) at Fitzwilliam College, University of Cambridge, for which I received a fully funded scholarship from the Harding Distinguished Postgraduate Scholars Programme Leverage Scheme and the Economic and Social Research Council Doctoral Training Partnership for ranking as the top applicant to the course. Currently, I am studying a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at St Cross College, University of Oxford.
