Kata Katona

I’m a trainee at the Oxford Institute of Clinical Psychology (2024-2027). My first placement is with the Talking Therapies service in Maidenhead. Before training, I completed my BSc in Psychology at King’s College London and my MSc in Developmental Psychology and Clinical Practice at University College London. During my degree, I worked as an honorary assistant psychologist with the Empowering Parents Empowering Communities service in SLaM and delivered CBT based guided self-help to adolescents experiencing low mood and anxiety. My main interests include parenting, early years, and thinking about ways of reaching and supporting those most often overlooked due to systemic challenges.
