I am currently in my first year of training on the Oxford Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. My first year will consist of two placements; working in TalkingSpace Plus (IAPT) with older adults with long-term conditions, and supporting people affected by cancer with Maggie’s Centre.
Experience & Education
I completed my Psychology degree at University College Dublin in 2018, followed by an MSc in Applied Psychology at Trinity College Dublin in 2019.
Thereafter, I worked as an Assistant Psychologist; in Primary Care with the HSE (Ireland’s national health service), in SilverCloud Health, and at an adult inpatient hospital in the NHS. I have also worked as a care assistant with Gheel Autism Services.
Interests
My interests (so far!) include child and adolescent mental health, early intervention & prevention of mental illness, widening service access, autism & trauma-based interventions.
