PhD
I am a first year trainee currently working in IAPT (TalkingTherapies) in Reading.
Prior to the clinical training, I completed a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Psychology at the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia). I moved to the UK in 2017 to do a PhD at the University of Reading. My PhD was about identifying and overcoming barriers to seeking/accessing professional help for anxiety and depressive disorders in adolescents.
I am very passionate about early intervention and prevention of mental health problems in young people and would like to focus on more complex mental health difficulties (e.g. psychosis) in my future research.
