Jade Elliston

I am currently in my first year as a Trainee Clinical Psychologist at the Oxford Institute of Clinical Psychology Training and Research. My first placement is split between an Integrated Psychological Therapies (IPT) team and an Older Adults service. I have previously worked in acute adult mental health and I also have experience working with adults and children with ASD and learning disabilities in the health, education and third sector. I am really interested in relationships and how relational issues and processes can contribute to our understanding of the development of psychopathology, particularly in the field of trauma. I am also interested in how relational thinking helps psychologists make sense of therapeutic work and their work with multi-disciplinary teams. Outside of psychology, I am a big fan of food! I love to cook, host, visit markets and go to cooking classes
