Hira Sharif

I am a trainee clinical psychologist at the Oxford Institute of Clinical Psychology Training. Prior to training, I completed my BSc in Psychology and MSc in Clinical Mental Health Sciences at University College London. During my Masters degree, I conducted research on the validity of “expressed emotion” as a construct in South Asian families and worked as an assistant psychologist at a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. Following this, I trained and worked as a PWP in NHS Talking Therapies. I am particularly interested in cross-cultural differences in mental health disorders and interventions, and improving access, engagement, and outcomes for under-represented communities.
