Hasina Khan

I am currently in my first year at the Oxford Institute of Clinical Psychology Training. My first placement is with Oxford Talking Therapies.

Prior to training, I completed my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with Study Abroad at The University of Birmingham and The University of Sydney. I completed a master's degree in Early Intervention in Psychosis at King’s College London. During my master’s degree, I was on placement as an Honorary Assistant Psychologist at The Outreach and Support in South London community team – an early intervention service for young people.

I worked as an Assistant Psychologist at the Gender Identity Development Clinic and across mental health inpatient wards. My research and clinical interests have a focus on improving assess and engagement in psychology for global majority populations. As a British Kashmiri woman of colour, my ethos will always be to ensure help is given to other low-income, global majority individuals within the communities we work for.
