Ellen Crawford

My placement this year is a year-long Clinical Health Psychology placement split between the Renal Unit at the Churchill Hospital and Haematology department at the John Radcliffe Hospital.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE & PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS:

I undertook my BSc in Psychology at the University of Sheffield and completed a Master’s degree in Mental Health Research at the University of Nottingham.

Over a number of years, I have worked in various settings including a Low-Secure Forensic ‘Personality Disorder’ ward for women; Special Educational Needs; Speech, Language and Communicative development as a Research Assistant and more recently in two different services as an Assistant Psychologist within Oxford Health FT. One of these was the IAPT service for Oxfordshire and the other was in a Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Team. This latter role was in an area of particular interest for me and one that I remain deeply passionate about.
