Ella Janes

I am a trainee on the Oxford Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (2024-2027). Before starting my training, I gained valuable experience supporting clinical research trials within the Oxford Cognitive Approaches to Psychosis (O-CAP) group, contributing to projects such as Phoenix, Feeling Safer, Sleeping Better and RAPID. I hold an MSc in Psychological Sciences (UCL) and a BA in French (University of Exeter). I have prior NHS experience as the Head of Patient and Parent Involvement for children’s inpatient wards in Cambridge, where I supported families to have a voice in their care and in service development. I have also worked as an Assistant Psychologist in child and adult community eating disorders teams, where I developed skills in clinical assessment, therapeutic intervention, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
