Charlotte Nicoll

I am a Trainee Clinical Psychologist in the 2025–2028 cohort at the Oxford Institute of Clinical Psychology. Before beginning the course, I worked as an Assistant Psychologist across multiple acute inpatient wards at a psychiatric hospital in London, where I managed a caseload and co-facilitated family interventions. My earlier experience includes roles as a Healthcare Assistant in crisis houses in London and on acute wards in the Midlands and Yorkshire, and as an Assistant Psychologist within a DBT CAMHS community service in South London. Additionally, I have worked as a Research Officer at the Anna Freud Centre.

I completed a BSc in Psychology in Education from the University of York and an MSc in Developmental Psychology and Psychopathology from King’s College London, where I started a research placement with the mental health charity: Mind.

My clinical interests include working within family systems, early intervention with young people in CAMHS, supporting individuals with complex emotional needs, and advocating for greater understanding of neurodevelopmental disorders: particularly ADHD.
