Amy Lewins

“I am currently in my first year at the Oxford Institute of Clinical Psychology Training.  My first placement is a split placement meaning I will be working with a charity, Homeless Oxford, as well as with older adults in an IAPT service.

Prior to training, I completed my bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Exeter before studying my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Sciences at University College London (UCL).

Most recently, I have worked as a Senior Assistant Psychologist and Research Assistant at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. This role involved delivering adapted Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for children and adolescents with epilepsy and a range of mental health difficulties and neurodiversity.  I also worked as a Research Assistant at North East London Foundation Trust and as an Assistant Psychologist at the HMP Bronzefield in Surrey.
