Aika Hui

WHAT I DO:
I am currently in my first year at the Oxford Institute of Clinical Psychology Training. My first placement is with the community adult mental health team at City Psychological Therapies based in Warneford Hospital, Oxford.

PREVIOUS QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior to training, I completed my bachelor's degree in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Cambridge, master's degree in Clinical Mental Health sciences at University College London and a PGCert in Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Interventions.

PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS:

I worked as an Assistant Psychologist in a split role between a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit and Low Secure Forensic Personality Disorder ward in London. I was also a trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner and worked briefly in an Early Intervention in Psychosis team as an Honorary Assistant Psychologist. My research and clinical interests are still to be determined. Outside of clinical and research work, I am interested in increasing public access and engagement in psychology and mental health work through innovative means (i.e. social media, illustrations and video production).
