BSc (Hons), MSc, PGCert
I am currently a first-year trainee Clinical Psychologist at Oxford. My first placement will be a year-long placement, split between older adult community, older adult inpatient, and outpatient adult mental health based in Oxford and Abingdon.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Loughborough University, and my masters degree in Human Cognitive Neuropsychology at the University of Edinburgh. During my undergraduate I worked as a research assistant at Kings College London, investigating sex differences in Autism symptomology. After finishing my masters, I completed training as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) with Surrey University and worked as a qualified PWP for almost a year before staring the Clinical Psychology Doctorate at Oxford.
PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS
My professional interests currently include Neuropsychology, specifically acute Neuropsychology. I am also interested in Clinical Health psychology, especially paediatric and women’s health. I am also excited and open to experiencing new areas of research, clinical practice, and ways of working during my time on the course.
I am also interested in leadership and consultation, and am passionate about increasing integration of psychology into physical health services, as well as increasing early outreach and access to encourage more diversity within the profession.
