Ruby Ramsden

I have just started my training (2021) and am soon to embark on placements in a Specialist Memory Service and Acute Inpatient Setting for working age adults.

My previous experience includes working as an Assistant Psychologist in a dual diagnosis service and a specialist secondary school for boys with Autism. As well as Health Care Assistant roles, working with people across the lifespan with a range of mental health and learning needs.

I am also an active member of various Division of Clinical Psychology (DCP) committees and groups, including the Pre-Qualification Group (PQG), Professional Standards and Research Committee, and the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Anti-Racism Taskforce.

My current clinical interests include dual diagnosis, attachment, trauma-informed care, community psychology and child and adolescent mental health. I am keen to broaden and further develop my interests whilst on training.
