Oxford Foundation and Intermediate Systemic Courses

          Oxford Systemic Therapy Training

                 (OSTT)

Begin your journey in Systemic Thinking and Practice with us!

We are passionate trainers and are invested in developing systemic practice skills with a wide range of health and social care professionals from different settings across the life span.

We lead Foundation and Intermediate Systemic Courses with Oxford Brookes University and Association of family Therapy accredited embedded courses within the Clinical Psychology Doctorate at Oxford University. We began to offer courses for health and social care professionals in partnership with Oxford Brookes in 2022/2023. We are currently awaiting accreditation from the Association of Family Therapy (AFT) for these programs.

Located in the Isis Education Centre at Warneford Hospital, Headington, Oxford. OST is a team of professionals, each with their unique cultural and clinical background committed to the development and application of systemic thinking to clinical practice and research.

At the core of our values, we aim to maintain and promote curiosity, self-reflexivity and a commitment to anti-oppressive practice. We strive to deconstruct prejudice and attend to power and difference. We aim to hold in mind the contextual influences on people’s day-to-day lives for the people we work with. Similarly, we think about what is happening in the learning environment and aim to create a space where different voices can be heard.

We will be holding online open events the week commencing 20th May. To register for these events please contact Bethany Mann Bethany.mann@hmc.ox.ac.uk
