Research Tutor Dr Danielle Shore joined OXICPTR as a Research Tutor in November 2023. She also works in the Department of Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford, and at Queen’s College Oxford. Danielle completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology, her Masters degree in Psychological Research with Clinical Neuroscience and her PhD in Social Neuroscience at Bangor University. Danielle’s research explores how social information, especially facial expressions, affect social interactions, decision-making, and well-being. She examines how different social information (e.g. facial expressions, trust, context) influences the success of interactions and decision-making. Further, Danielle is interested in the impact of visual difference, emotional labour and socio-cognitive impairments on well-being. To investigate these ideas Danielle conducts behavioural, social cognitive and clinical studies.
