Dr. Clare Borsay, Clinical Psychologist & Course (Clinical) Tutor
Dr. Clare Borsay is a Clinical Psychologist and accredited member of the BABCP. She completed her clinical psychology doctorate in 2012 and has worked in NHS child and adolescent mental health (CAMH) services (including specialist services for young people with eating disorders) since then. Clare began working for the training course in November 2021 and is part of the clinical team. She also continues to work locally in CAMHS.
Clare’s clinical interests lie in the field of adolescent mental health and in work with children and young people more generally. She primarily practises using CBT, but incorporates a range of other approaches depending on her clients’ needs.
In addition, Clare has particular interests in staff training (running CBT skills workshops for CAMHS clinicians) and clinical supervision (supporting the supervision training workshop run by the training course).
